About this role
Advance Staffing is hiring forklift operators for employer partners across the Memphis metropolitan area. This is a staffing assignment through Advance Staffing Inc., which means we are the employer of record and handle your payroll, payroll taxes, and workers compensation coverage.
What you will do
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker equipment safely
- Move, stage, and put away pallets and material
- Load and unload trailers using powered industrial equipment
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report defects
- Follow all site safety and traffic rules
- Support picking, packing, and shipping operations as needed
What you need
- Current forklift certification, verifiable by source and date
- Documented experience on the equipment class required by the assignment
- Willing to complete the client's site-specific equipment evaluation
- Reliable attendance and on-time arrival
- Pass the client's background and drug screening
- Two forms of valid identification for work eligibility verification
